By the sincere and honest effort of the then manager Rev.Fr.Kuriakose Iykolambil, a higher secondary was sanctioned for koorachundu in the year 2014.
Sri.Thomas Michael Valliyil,Saji Koonamthanath,Robinson Cheriyampuram , Saji Thekkayil and Vipin Parayil who were the trustees of the parish during that period assisted the manager for winning the sanction, the construction of the building and arranging the facilities for the school. .The school started to function on 27 August 2015 in two class rooms of the high school.The foundation stone for the new building was laid on 12th April 2015 adjoining the U.P School by Mar Remigiose Inchananiyil , the Bishop of Thamarassery. The construction was over by two years and it was blessed on 2nd May 2017 by Mar Remigiose Inchananiyil.
The school started to work in full swing on 1st January 2018 when Shri. Boby George took charge as the first principal. The school has science and commerce batches . There are twelve teachers and two lab assistants.
