ICUP School Poozhithode was established by Rev.Fr.Thomas Mattapalli in the year 1965.Mr. M.V Ulahannan was the first head master of this school.The school started in a temporary building and in 1970 May 09,new school building inagurated by C.M Balan Nair(AEO PERMBRA) in the presence of His Excellency Mar.Sebastian Valloppalli (Bishop of Thalasserry Diocese).In 1982 the school upgraded to a UP school.The school aims at the integral development learners.
